PRS also adds 3 cutting-edge narrowfield pickups to the Modern Eagle III.
These passive PRS pickups are based on 57/08 humbuckers that have been "squished" to create a smaller magnetic field to sense a much shorter piece of the string.
The result is a very musical new-sounding pickup system that blends the sonic attributes of single-coil, soapbar, and humbucker pickups.
